OBJECTIVE
This report covers a one day planned event that sought to
- Reach out to meet some needs of a group of students
- Show appreciation to staff of the afore-stated school.
- Give extra attention to Maths, English and Science studies.
ATTENDANCE
The team of three (3) members of PCCF, namely, Mr Asamoah, country manager, Mrs Pearl Donkor, Gen. Secretary and Mr Ramzy, a board member arrived at the school by 11:35am on Wednesday, 22nd April, 2026.
We were met by a waiting staff of the school, a number of the schools’ 1996 year group students and the ever ready photographer for the day.

SUPPLIES
Items provided by PCCF for the event included;
- 4 boxes of Don sharps’ series Maths Texts books by Nana Sakyi. They numbered 170 copies in all.
- 1 box of PCCF branded mathematical sets numbering 135 pieces.
- A token cash appreciation for the staff.
- 1 Barner of PCCF and 5 Event badges.
COURTESIES
Welcome and Introduction
On arrival, we made a curtesy call on the headmistress who welcome the team and mentioned their readiness for the day.
Team leader, Mr Asamoah introduced the members and also stated the team’s preparedness for the day. We were joined by a representative of the Presby church who doubled as the SRC chairman of the school.
In discussion, few challenges were highlighted that could be given some attention as well at a later visit.
MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THE DAY
First for distribution were the text books. Students of forms 1 and 2 were assembled outside the classroom. They were informed of the team’s presence and mission by the headmistress. They were addressed as well by the team and the old students in turns.
The old students mentioned that, it is their 30th year of exiting the school hence, planning a celebration with the school in mind. They together with some staff members joined the team in the distribution of the books.
The Candidates, who were writing a mock examination as at the time, were asked to temporarily halt to allow the distribution of the branded mathematical sets meant for them. After a brief address, the same people shared the items.
CHALLENGES
- The headmistress mentioned that science and maths studies have faced challenges over the times hence, her desire for greater attention in that area. To that effect, final year students are subjected to a programme known as the Science Clinic. They attend this event twice in their closing days at a fee of 30.00 per student.
Also the need for at least a mini science laboratory which is nonexistent at the basic school level leaving science teaching theoretical. - There was also a building block that needs completion.
- The discomfort of hosting us in the headmistress’s office due to space.
STAFF APPRECIATION.
This was done in the headmistress’s office by the the secretary on behalf of PCCF.
In response, the Maths teacher who was grateful stated that, they did not realised they efforts were being noticed by the headmistress.
RECOMMENDATION
The school recommended that the outreach visit should be more and frequent so as to maximise impact on students.
OUTCOME
- The team met with one of the special need pupil.
- A pleasant pupil with an intense speech impairment.
- Some photographs were taken after appreciation by the old students.
DEPARTURE
The team parted ways with the headmistress at 1:25pm.
